Holiday Blood Needs - We need your help!
What a better way to start your holiday season than by giving the gift of life. The day after Thanksgiving is the busiest shopping day of the year. So most of our regular donors don’t come out and donate because it’s a day off, but the need for blood and blood by products does not take a day off.
Many of our community members unfortunately will spend their holidays hospitalized and many will require blood, platelet or plasma transfusions. To meet their need we need donors to give to during the upcoming holiday season.
Please remember illnesses, accidents, diseases don’t take a holiday and neither can blood donations. Additionally the chapter is just short of goal for the month and we need more donors than normal to donate Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Making goal is important but saving a life, that is priceless.
In the spirit of thankfulness for your good health share your blessing with someone who needs it, by donating blood. If you cannot donate at this time, please share this with someone who can.
