Over I-540 and through the woods.....TROPICAL PICKEN CHICKEN

05/20/2012 22:42
TROPICAL PICKEN CHICKEN   Over I-540 and through the woods of Raleigh there lies a the Town of Wake Forest and in this town right there on Main Street lies a small place with mucho “SABOR”   Tropical Picken Chicken   Today I had the great pleasure to visit a small but so familiar place in Wake Forest call the Tropical Picken Chicken. This small venue where culinary masterpieces are created daily to satisfy almost every palette reminds a Boricua of his “Isla del Encanto”, the Dominican of his “Linda Quisqueya”, and the Cuban of his “Madre Cuba”   As you enter come up to the door you are greeted by a Sunglasses and Guayabera wearing chicken that triggers you r inner curiosity about the Latin flavor cuisine you are about to receive. Inside you instantly transported to Cuba, Puerto Rico and Republica Dominicana almost instantly by the intense aroma of fine Latin food. Just as you get to the Counter, the Owner a New York Boricua greets you...

This is where I embraised what was being Puertorriqueño. I Learned the language thet way it was spoken in our tiny but...
